As an intern in the 2025 China Seasonal Internship Program - Asset Management - Business Analyst, you will begin a 6-month program with rotation, our program kicks off with training and orientation to our businesses and you'll gain the technical and practical knowledge so you can make an impact from the start.

The program is an opportunity to take your career to the next level through hands-on experience, relevant skills training and valuable professional networking. Based on your individual performance and achievements, you may receive an offer of full-time employment upon completion of the internship program.

You will be placed in below teams for your 6 months' Internship:

  • Client related functions (Retail / Institutional / Digital commerce): Assist with client sales and retention while gaining broad exposure to asset classes and investment professionals throughout the firm.
  • Marketing: We serve as the brand ambassador and voice of the firm. The team drives client engagement and business impact through delivering marketing campaigns and thought leadership contents, reaching millions of investors across both offline and digital communications channels.
  • CAO functions: We provide input for business planning, collaborates with colleagues, and ensures smooth business operations.
  • Operations: responsible for managing and maintaining the financial records of investment funds and client shares, we perform various accounting and reconciliation tasks, including recording transactions, valuing assets, and calculating fund performance as well as transfer agent.
  • ESG: We partner with our global sustainable investing team to deliver ESG solution and products in China, while supporting client works, research and thought leadership initiatives on sustainable investing subjects.
  • Product Strategy & Development: We are responsible for the design, development, and management of entire product range across all asset classes (equities, fixed income, ETF & Quant, liquidity, and multi-asset) and partner with investment and sales team to drive the firm's strategic growth agenda.

About You

A strong interest in finance and asset management is essential, as are logical thinking and quantitative skills, flexibility, teamwork, excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle pressure and enjoy a collaborative environment. A well-rounded academic background is important. You certainly don't need a degree in Economics or Finance, but a good level of numeracy is required.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Strong initiative, energy and confidence
  • Good judgment and discretion working with confidential information
  • Final year student with expected graduation of December 2025 through July 2026
  • Be able to work for at least 3 working days per week and last for 6 months from July - December 2025
  • Holding the permanent right to work in Mainland China is required
  • Relocation assistance for flight and accommodation will not be provided
