Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners /Physician Assistants) are a growing and critical segment of healthcare providers (HCPs) delivering patient care. The Manager, APP Ambassadors, Gastroenterology is responsible for leading a team that will proactively& compliantly engage APPs at a local level to identify marketplace needs, provide disease state and product education, and to support HCPs in appropriate utilization of JJIM access and fulfilment resources. The APP Ambassadors will compliantly collaborate with other field team members in delivering all role responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Mentor, develop and lead a team towards attaining brand objectives for Gastroenterology products within the JJIM portfolio
- Demonstrate the ability to shape their business strategically while operating within an assigned budget
- Pull-through Immunology culture tenets, manage APP Ambassador performance, develop and motivate people and teams, demonstrate core product's clinical attributes, forge valuable customer relationships, and achieve their brand objectives
- Collaborate with partners and work in the field with minimal supervision
- Completion of all required field standards, including timely and accurate documentation of customer engagements, expense reporting, and required trainings
Qualifications
REQUIRED
- Advanced degree as either Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- 3+ years as a NP or PA actively engaged in Gastroenterology/Inflammatory Bowel Disease patient care
- 3+ years of experience leading and managing teams
- Track record of building productive, collaborative relationships with individuals of varied educational background and performing different roles within an ecosystem
- Self-starter with proven ability to set, pursue, and achieve goals/results
- Superior communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent follow through
- Reside within the geography or be willing to relocate to it
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, including some weekend conferences. (This role is field-based with expectation to complete in-person engagements).
PREFERRED
- NP or PA experience working in both institutional/academic setting and community office
- Strong knowledge as it relates to payer approval process, and solid business acumen
- Ability to translate customer feedback into potential solutions
- Strong organizational, problem solving and project management skills.
- Success exhibiting peer leadership, mentorship and coaching
- Genuine interest and demonstrated competence in learning and adopting new technologies
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $150,000 to $215,050.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
