Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to lead and enhance our EHS programs. You will oversee safety strategies, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. The role includes team management, training, and driving EHS initiatives to support company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Recruit, develop, and mentor the EHS team, ensuring effective succession planning and performance management.
- Safety Strategy: Develop and implement a robust EHS strategy aligned with company goals. Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and all regulatory standards.
- Cost and Process Improvement: Streamline processes to reduce costs and improve safety practices, leveraging metrics and trend analysis.
- Training & Development: Oversee EHS training programs for all staff, ensuring legal compliance and promoting a proactive safety culture.
- Compliance & Reporting: Manage audits, incident reporting, and ensure adherence to safety regulations. Provide updates on EHS activities to management.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, global EHS standards, and safety regulations.
- Proven track record in cost reduction and continuous improvement programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and business analytics.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EHS management.
- Certified Croatian health and safety expert (Levels 1 and 2); fire protection certification preferred.
- Fluency in English and Croatian.
