Infosys is seeking a Business Analyst.
The role will need a consultant with a strong background of financial risk and compliance. This position's primary responsibility will be to help clients with strategy definition, value realization, implementation, and operations. The role holder will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
  • Experience in GRC requirements, business processes, risk management, risk assessments and process definition.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of experience in GRC requirements, business processes, risk management, risk assessments and process definition, data feeds and requirement
  • Experience in techno-functional SME with solid working knowledge of Excel and PL/SQL.
  • Experience working with stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritize business and system requirements using Agile frameworks.
  • Experience in system analysis to define scope and objectives based on best practices and client IT strategies.
  • Experience in serve as a liaison between business owners and technical teams to translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories.
  • Experience in creating and managing product backlogs, story maps, and business process flows.
  • Experience to review and validate test plans, cases, and scripts to ensure requirements traceability and quality assurance.
  • Experience in identify opportunities to improve business processes and provide recommendations based on industry standards.
  • Experience in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Experience in understanding high level business objectives and requirements and create product backlog, creates epics, features, user stories, story map, business process flows and prioritize with the business owners.
  • Ensures all requirements are fulfilled by the technical design. Reviews the test plan, test cases and test scripts ensuring traceability to all requirements.
  • Applies industry best practices to improve Client's current practices. Develops recommendations to improve processes or techniques.
  • Determines the overall requirements gathering strategy and plans the requirements phase of the project including the work division strategy among the project BAs.
  • Manages the progress and quality of the requirements gathering activities and adjusts the plan as necessary. Plans the risk response strategy to be used in monitoring and controlling all identified risks throughout the requirements process.
  • Typically leads moderately complex projects and participates in larger, more complex initiatives. Solves complex technical and operational problems. Acts as a resource for teammates with less experience. May have people management responsibilities for a small team.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
