We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Compliance Focal to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that HR's technology and data controls are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, with a specific focus on AI ethics. - Develop and implement AI ethics guidelines and processes that ensure the responsible use of AI across HR
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure that AI and automations are designed and implemented in a way that is transparent, explainable, fair and ethical
- Ensure that HR systems and the data that are used are secure and compliant with relevant laws and regulations
- Collaborate with IBM Ethics Office, Legal teams, Procurement and Office for Responsible Tech and Privacy to enhance the current ethics and compliance process
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures that ensure the accurate, complete, and secure storage and transmission of HR data
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify risk, potential data breaches and implement corrective actions
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate and promote HR compliance, AI ethics and data controls to HR teams.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in compliance, with a focus on AI ethics and technology
- Strong knowledge of AI ethics principles and guidelines, including transparency, explainability, and fairness
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and guidelines, including data security and data breach response
- Knowledge of HR processes, HR systems and data
- Knowledge on Data Privacy foundations
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with the following are bonus points, but not necessary, you can learn them at IBM:
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including GDPR, CCPA and EU AI Act
- Data Science knowledge and technical background
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and training skills
