You as a Tendering Manager will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will be developing, performing, and fulfilling the tender process activities of the organization to obtain maximum efficiency, quality, service, and profitability for the organization Ensuring business growth through direct involvement with front end sale, sales specialists, engineering, and operations teams to ensure tendering activities are completed is in accordance with the organizational strategy.
Your responsibilities
- Leading and overseeing the tender process team to ensure high standards of efficiency, quality, and profitability for the organization and coordinating, supporting, and assisting the tender process department and other departments within the organization.
- Establishing and improving methods for identifying opportunities, evaluating, and measuring tender process and sharing feedback with relevant internal stakeholders and using agreed systems to manage the tender process functions, analysis, and documentation.
- Planning and managing the tender process activities to achieve the set targets and providing support to other departments on tender-related issues.
- Recruiting, training, supervising, appraising, and developing the tender process team members according to agreed criteria and ensure they meet their targets and reporting on the tender process performance monthly or as otherwise agreed (content and format as agreed).
- Developing plans for team activities to enhance strategy and contributing to the development and preparation of the organization's tender process strategy and overall business planning.
- Delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members with appropriate supervision, accountability, and review and setting an example for team members in terms of commitment, work ethics, habits, and personal character.
- Maintaining accurate records and using resources responsibly and control expenses to meet agreed budgetary controls, also following all organization policies and procedures.
- Interacting and cooperating with all members of the organization and its suppliers and customers and responsible for your assigned workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must also contribute to the smooth running of the organization in general.
- Sharing knowledge, experiences and expertise with key clients, customers and third parties, plus work with regional sales organization to effectively target prospects using a regional team approach. Preparing and presenting presentations for internal and external customers.

Your background
- A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or electronic field is required.
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in bids & proposal is preferred.
- Knowledge of grid high voltage and power quality system is required.
- Understanding of power electronics applications and automation systems and power electronics applications and automation systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
