You'll have responsibility for all aspects of Contract Management from tendering to the final execution keeping to internal standard policies and procedures and current market trends.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Contracts Manager/Project Manager with industry knowledge and global experience. You will be happy to work primarily from home with regular site travel and occasional visits to the head office in Birmingham.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure the portfolio of contracts follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard policies and procedures.
- Establish contract strategy and drive implementation of strategic contract opportunities.
- Provide domain expertise in implementation, execution and administration of contract management.
- Develop contract strategy based on policies, customer requirements, and the overall execution strategy considering risk, pricing, scope, and time schedule.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop change and claim negotiation strategy and to support negotiations.
- Review and comment on commercial and technical tender terms and conditions.
- Participate in and lead contract negotiation.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects (i.e. payments, claims, variation orders, warranties, provisions, guarantees, etc.).
- Review and comment on commercial and technical terms and conditions.
- Enforce and defend contractual interests during the project life cycle, including monitoring and assessment of changes and deviations, as well as defending and enforcing claims.
- Establish and implement standard contract change methodologies.
Background:
- Bachelor's degree in either Engineering or Law.
- Proven experience as a Senior Contract Management and negotiations
- Experience in Contract portfolio governance
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple contracts simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to lead and drive projects to successful completion
- Strong Stakeholder experience and high level of communication at all levels
