Healthfirst's 2025 Summer Trailblazer Internship is a 10-week paid program beginning on June 2, 2025. This is an immersive and interactive learning experience, that lays a foundation for continued leadership development. Interns do impactful work, collaborating with other interns, employees, and business leaders to solve current business problems and deliver solutions. Position Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Insight and Experience Intern to support the Customer Insight team in creating tools and processes that curate insight documents and deliver high value information to decision makers working on personalized customer experiences and allied campaigns. Because "all marketing begins with insights," this role provides an exciting opportunity to identify critical business questions, use leading technology to uncover relevant answers, and ensure knowledge is implemented effectively for the best customer outcomes.

The intern will assist in organizing and managing the variety of documents that result from qualitative and quantitative research, behavioral data analyses, and AI-powered methodologies, then creating syntheses and summaries of meaningful patterns that can enhance decision-making.
This position is ideal for a data-driven, curious, and creative problem-solver who is eager to explore how research techniques and AI can be combined to deliver actionable insights for customer experience innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand how different customer research methodologies produce different types of information, and how AI-powered innovation in research enables new learning opportunities.
- Partner with leaders and decision-makers across marketing to understand their recurring questions, information gaps, and the commonalities shared by those professionals.
- Help organize the variety of documents that result from ongoing research studies, ad hoc customer insight projects and external analysis, so the information can be synthesized, summarized, communicated and used to high impact.
- Create testing scenarios and criteria that evaluate how well different technologies deliver answers to business questions.
- Recommend options and opportunities for enhancing the insight process and applying customer insights across marketing and to the broader business.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Coursework or hands-on experience in AI applications in marketing, market research or business administration. Tools may include and techniques may include: out-of-the-box models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) or custom LLMs for sentiment analysis, cluster analysis, summarization of diverse data sets
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills to translate data into insights that can be easily understood and used by business decision makers.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Passion for understanding consumer behavior through an AI-enhanced lens.
- Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program. Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program.

Hiring Range:
- Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $39,208 - $52,000
- All Other Locations (within approved locations): $34,091 - $49,920
As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.

The hiring range is defined as the lowest and highest salaries that Healthfirst in "good faith" would pay to a new hire, or for a job promotion, or transfer into this role.
