Here at GXO Northampton, we are looking for a Transport Network Planner to come and join us at our site. You will be working Monday - Friday, 09:30-18:00, however flexibility will be required, this is logistics after all!

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £28,000.00 per annum. What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Planning peak schedules to ensure the network is correctly resourced and additional costs are aligned with the budget
  • Ensure vehicles across the network are planned to be fully utilised and reduce vehicles scheduled per day per site
  • Complete analysis of the planned KPI's vs actual vs budget. Any variations to plan need to be challenged/understood
  • Control costs in line with budgets and propose initiatives that will support cost reductions
  • Communicate with colleagues, managers, internal and external contacts as required to ensure effective two-way communication exists to support achievement of agreed customer service levels

What skills you need to succeed at GXO:
  • Experience within a planning or operations environment that demonstrates the capability to schedule and implement a paragon schedule
  • Results orientated, willing to take ownership for achieving targets
  • Financially and commercially aware
  • Able to demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement
