The Controller is accountable for all financial aspects of the assigned region (UK). This position plays a key role in internal & external reporting accuracy and analysis, audit coordination and ensures compliance with corporate policies and regulations in UK Region. The Controller will collaborate with other finance and operations teams to support strategic initiatives within the region. This position reports to the Head of Controlling, Tax and Treasury for EU Region.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
o Balance sheet ownership for UK entities
o Provide financial analysis and commentary to senior management regarding variances and financial trends.
o Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing processes for the UK (Monthly closing leader)
o Ensure the accuracy of Griffith Foods Internal Reporting for Group Consolidation (SAP BPC).
o Prepare and review financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Local GAAP and US GAAP.
o Compliance with local legal, tax (including Griffith Foods Transfer Pricing Policy), and financial regulations.
o Responsibility for local and Group audit completion.
o Maintenance of proper internal controls.
o Lead and Achieve UK Statutory Requirements.
o Company Pensions Scheme Finance Coordination and Reporting Requirements.

Internal Controls and Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards.
o Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
o Support external and internal audits by providing requested information and documentation.

Budgeting & Forecasting Support:
o Collaborate with FP&A in the budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the UK operations (Specially in the Balance Sheet)Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
o Develop financial models and projections to support business planning and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum +5 years of experience in accounting or finance areas, with at least +3 years' experience in Public Accounting Firm (External Audit Background).
• CPA / ACA / ACCA qualification is required.
