AYCO Financial Counseling (AYCO)
Goldman Sachs Ayco Financial Counseling (Ayco) partners with Fortune 1000 companies to design and implement tailored financial planning programs for their workforce- leveraging the 50-year heritage of Ayco and the comprehensive resources of Goldman Sachs to meet the evolving needs of their employees. Ayco believes companies best serve their stakeholders and the greater economy when their employees' financial lives are clear, understood and in their control. Ayco advisors and technical specialists help clients achieve their personal financial goals through education and guided implementation across seven key financial disciplines, including employee benefit planning.

Wealth Management Professionals work directly with our clients to provide exceptional client service, operational support and risk management. The primary function of this position is to provide comprehensive support to Private Wealth Advisors and PWA client accounts, including issue-spotting and generating investment and ideas to assist the PWA. An Analyst may also be responsible for oversight of daily workflow and other supervisory related tasks.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with Private Wealth Advisors to support their PWM clients
  • Leverage your operational background and experience to contribute to a growing business
  • Proactively anticipate, determine and recommend solutions to meet client needs and/or resolve issues surrounding investment related transactions
  • Manage cash balances and private banking services in accounts
  • Respond to questions from clients, Ayco account managers and their teams relating to PWA client accounts
  • Resolve time sensitive client service related issues, including complex situations
  • Facilitate and execute transactions in accordance with client and PWA instructions and consistent with internal policies and procedure
  • Oversee the establishment of client files in accordance with required guidelines
  • Provide overview of client reporting and web capabilities to potential new clients
  • Plan and manage new account on boarding process
  • May lead a group of Analysts and provide oversight for workflow, tasks and act as a resource for escalated issues
  • Perform any and all additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director and/or Ayco PWM Management team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Series 7 & 63 required, or must be obtained within 4 months of hire
  • Interest in Financial Services Industry
  • Self-motivated and able to work in an autonomous, yet collaborative environment.
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to be detail-oriented, self-motivated and capable of working in a team environment.
  • Strong interest in client service
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (ex. Outlook, Excel and Word)

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this Albany, New York, United States-based position is $55000-$75000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
