Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensures a safe working environment that complies with applicable EHS, Quality and Integrity policies and procedures.
- Responsible for overseeing the project execution and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources for small-medium-large sized projects that may include engineering, site supervision, procurement, site works.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
- Manages and controls the execution of the OTR operational activity (products, projects, services) in its area, including improvement of the profitability.
- Identifies and manages the risks and opportunities of the activity in its geographical area.
- In liaison with the Regional General Manager , help set up an organization in line with the group's directions.
- Ensures the achievement of the operational results expected by the group (Operating Plan) measured through financial and operational indicators.
- Support commercial team in validating offers made by the Quotation department and regularly provides post-completion feedback whenever necessary.
- Prepares the annual budget and quarterly forecasts and actions to achieve the forecast.
- Develops and manages the execution of the Grid Automation strategic growth plan within its scope.
- Supports the operational governance across the region.
- Manages the business skills and training plan of its teams.
- Supervises strategic actions for transformation of the MENAT region.
- Directly manage the Technical Support team, Global Supply Chain & Inside Sales, Supply Chain, Quality & EHS for the region ensuring word class services are provided to customers.
- Guarantees the commitment of Operations teams in achieving their objectives and priorities, eliminates obstacles to their work, uses organizational resources to improve skills, supervise and train team members.
- Supports the deployment of world-class harmonized project management processes, practices, methods and tools provided by the central Global Operations team.
- Provided operational support and guidance for complex and strategic Grid Automation projects.
- Participates in discussions about the future of the company requiring frequent and in-depth interaction with other functions.
- Leads and develops a culture of GE values and integrity.
- Leads the implementation of excellence in the completion of customer projects.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in operation management, complex project management, supply chain and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to lead remote team members to build a single, coordinated, and effective team.
- Ability to work in international and matrix organizations. Facilitated in interacting with people external to the departments at different levels of the company, including C-level.
- Strong business acumen.
- Interpersonal and leadership skills to create a team spirit and high standards within the department.
- Understanding of the Power market, its customers and influencing factors.
- Good oral & written communication skills in English.
- Flexibility to travel

- Master's degree in engineering
