GE Vernova in Bangor is seeking an experience, highly organized, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Bangor Facility. This role will report directly to the Plant Manager and will involve comprehensive administrative responsibilities, requiring a professional who can effectively manage various tasks, prioritize critical items, and serve as a key point of contact for the Plant Manager's office. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability tot thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide high-level executive support to the Plant Manager, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, room arrangements, coordinating travel arrangements, and handling confidential information with discretion.
- Communication Management: Serve as a liaison between the Plant Manager and internal/external customers ensuring clear and timely communication. Draft, proofread, and edit emails, presentations, and reports as required.
- Event Coordination: Organize and manage site events, all employee meetings, and other team-building activities, working with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Document Management: Prepare, organize, and maintain essential documents, presentations, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Project Support: Assist in managing special projects or initiative as assigned by the Plant Manager, including project tracking, follow-up on action items, KPI's, preparing project-related documents and communications.
- Office Operations: Coordinate and support daily office operations, including supply management, vendor coordination, expense reporting and other administrative tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient office environment.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and prepare for meetings, including preparing agendas, meeting materials, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Site (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Other Requirements: This is an on-site position. Availability to occasionally support early morning or late meetings and events as required.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $1,078.21 - $1,173.13 USD Weekly.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
