Job Description Summary

Logistic Operations Supervisor will be responsible for management of an hourly team of logistic shop operators for Aero Alliance Avenza Service Shop (Italy). She/He will report to the Gate 2 Logistic Leader in the Gate 2 Avenza Shop organization. This role is a permanent full-time position.

Job Description

  • management of an hourly team of logistic shop operators
  • supervision of daily activities ensuring compliance with EHS and Quality policies
  • overview of daily tasks for her/his team in accordance with shift-by-shift schedule provided by Logistic Leader/Logistic Planner
  • report-out of shift executed activities and problems/issues that occurs during the daily management of the logistic operations
  • cooperation with shift supervisors/ops leaders from other departments to guarantee the execution of general shop production targets

Basic requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) or equivalent knowledge or work experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows Office and ERP system (Oracle or SAP)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, both in Italian & English
  • Minimum experience in managing complex environment
  • Preferred proven experience in managing teams of hourly employees (from 10 to 30 people per shift)

Come Logistic Operations Supervisor, sarai respondabile di:

  • Gestire un hourly team di operatori logisitici
  • Supervisionare le attività giornaliere per assicurare la conformità agli standard definiti dalle politiche EHS e Quality
  • Sovraintendere le attività quotidiane della propria squadra in accordo al programma giornaliero per ogni turno dal Logistic Leader/Logistic Planner
  • Riportare le attività effettuate dal turno e segnalare eventuali problematiche emerse durante la gestione giornaliera delle attività logistiche
  • Cooperare con i Operations Supervisor e Operations Leaders di altri Gate o reparti per garantire il raggiungimento degli obiettivi generali di tutto lo Shop

Requisiti:

  • Laurea Triennale in Ingegneria (o equivalente) da Università/College accreditato, o Diploma di Scuola Superiore, o equivalenti conoscenze sviluppate durante precedenti esperienze lavorative
  • Esperienza lavorativa con Windows Office e ERP system (Oracle o SAP)
  • Buone capacità di comunicazione orale e scritta sia in Italiano che in Inglese
  • Esperienza, seppur minima, di gestione di situazioni complesse
  • È considerato un plus avere comprovata esperienza di gestione di un team di operatori hourly (dalle 10 alle 30 persone per turno)
