Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction.
  • Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
  • Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level.
  • Participate in the infrastructure architecture governance model.
  • Support design and deployment of infrastructure solutions meeting standardization, consolidation, TCO, security, regulatory compliance and application system qualities, for different businesses.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
  • Coach and mentor team members

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 1 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 6 years of professional experience
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Desired skills

  • Use of UFUNC and NX-Open APIs for development of custom CAD applications, with focus on architecting reusable code components with good knowledge of .NET & MFC.
  • Good hands on exposure to NX-Open API development with NX manager, ITK / SOA programming.
  • Strong knowledge of C / C++ & C#.
  • Good knowledge of various NX modules like Modelling, Assemblies, Drafting.
  • Basic knowledge of Teamcenter.
  • Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. CGI, Perl , Python)
  • Good hands on exposure working with IDE (Visual Studio, Eclipse)
  • Ability to translate design intent into NX-Open API program in a TC integrated environment.
  • Knowledge of Model Based Design, CAD/PLM software technologies and Manufacturing concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Computational Geometry concepts/application.
  • Basic understanding of Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) configuration and customization.
  • Understanding of SCRUM process and AGILE way of working.
  • Knowledge of SDLC processes and test driven development.
  • Basic understanding of database technologies, SQL, Spotfire and other visualization tools.
