Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Teamcenter PLM Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, developing and maintaining PLM solutions that support GE Aerospace's engineering and manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of Teamcenter PLM, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of Teamcenter PLM solutions to meet business requirements and objectives.
  • Participate in coding and development activities to build and enhance PLM solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and implement PLM strategies, roadmaps, and best practices to optimize product development processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Configure and customize Teamcenter to support various engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Integrate Teamcenter with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, CAD, MES) to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
  • Conduct system performance analysis and optimization to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in PLM technologies, recommending improvements and innovations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of PLM tools and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all PLM activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in PLM solutions architecture, with a focus on Siemens Teamcenter.
  • Proficient in all phases of Teamcenter implementations, including blueprinting, configuration, customization, training, cut-over, and post go-live support.
  • Skilled in C/C++ programming and Teamcenter server-side development (ITK SOA), BMIDE, Java, HTML, XML, Webservices, REST framework and Active Workspace configuration and declarative programming.
  • Possesses strong knowledge of Teamcenter product architecture and its integration frameworks such as ERP, CAD etc., integrations.
  • Technical expertise in Part Management, BOM Management, Change Management, Classification, and Workflow.
  • Experienced in configuring and customizing Teamcenter in 2-tier, 4-tier, Web, Active Workspace, and multi-site architectures.
  • Skillful at data migration, mapping, and validation from legacy applications to Teamcenter
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality PLM solutions on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to aerospace and defense is a plus.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with other PLM tools and technologies.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, particularly in securing PLM systems, integrations and data.
  • Certification in PLM or related fields.
