Job Description

Key Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for supporting the design and leading the execution of global and country-specific total rewards programs. This Senior Manager also serves as a subject matter expert for compensation and benefits for their assigned region.

  1. Support the Global Total Rewards function in driving the Total Rewards strategy and philosophy for Freshworks to attract and retain top talent and recognize and reward performance. Critical areas of focus include job levelling, base pay, allowances, shift pay, variable compensation (annual bonuses and commission plans), equity, and benefits programs.

  2. Collaborates with and serves as a subject matter expert to HR Business Partners and functional managers on matters pertaining to compensation. Provides advice and counsel to HR Business Partners on promotion planning, job classifications and levelling and individual compensation decisions.

  1. Lead the execution of global compensation and benefits processes; for example, annual compensation planning, variable pay plan assignments, benefit renewals and equity administration.

  2. Lead global projects like job evaluation, TR-related systems implementation and other new initiatives as the company continues to grow and expand.

  3. Create policies and procedures for global and regional compensation and benefits offerings to ensure fairness, consistency and alignment with statutory requirements.

  4. Support in the preparation of materials for executive reviews and approval.

  5. Support M&A as they relate to compensation and benefits.

  6. Develop effective analytics and metrics to influence program direction and monitor business impact and effectiveness.

  7. Evaluate external labour market conditions and internal growth projections, and analyze datato drive sound talent compensation decisions

Qualifications

  1. A minimum of 9 years of experience in compensation is required, and at least 4 years of experience in benefits is preferred.
  2. Knowledge and experience across the spectrum of broad-based total rewards and a general understanding of executive compensation administration
  3. Strong financial acumen
  4. Prior experience in working in multinational organizations and with virtual teams
  5. Senior-level stakeholder management skills balanced with playing a very 'hands-on.' approach for day to day work
  6. Ability to effectively translate complex information into clear and effective messages
  7. Highly collaborative, with the ability to partner with multiple stakeholders
  8. Expert level of skills with Microsoft Excel
