Director, SAI Platform Management
The Role
The Director of Platform Management will work closely with the Strategic Advisers investment management functions (research, portfolio management and trading) along with Operations, Data and Technology teams supporting and leading a range of projects with diverse scope and complexity. In this dynamic role, this individual will help grow and scale our IDS (Investment Decision Solutions) platforms within Strategic Advisers.
To be successful, candidates must have an ability to articulate business requirements, analyze and review systems and architectural designs, track all aspects of a multi-month initiative and communicate effectively with many levels across Strategic Advisers and within Fidelity Asset Management.

Primary Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners and act as an advocate for Strategic Advisers
- Collaborate with technology partners and key stakeholders to define the infrastructure vision, roadmap, and prioritization needs across Strategic Advisers
- Own and drive key initiatives from business requirements, systems analysis, architectural design, development, testing and implementation.
- Be a driver for change and innovation in product and systems design sessions; challenge the status quo.
- Ensure Strategic Advisers operational readiness, coordinate cross-project activities and provide support related to processes and infrastructure.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 10+ years relevant working experience preferably within Finance/Investment Management.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Broad-based Fidelity experience; experience with systems development projects, business analysis and systems analysis
- Work across organizational boundaries and effectively collaborate to achieve business results in a complex and fast paced environment.
- Robust data querying skills using SQL and experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; ability to produce executive-level PowerPoint presentations.
- Strong project management skills; experience managing complex projects with multiple business partners.
- History of successfully leading key initiatives to completion; translating strategies into specific goals, action plans and deliverables
- A leader with strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand complex systems and business requirements.
- Ability to identify key risks and bring them to resolution.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to growing your skills and building your product knowledge.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and lead implementation efforts as appropriate.
