Responsibilities

Develop and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards and custom visuals for complex business needs
Create optimized data models using Power Query and DAX to enhance reporting and visualization performance
Conduct data integration and transformation using ETL tools to structure clean, actionable data pipelines
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions
Optimize SQL queries to reveal actionable trends and insights across large datasets
Perform in-depth analysis of business processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement
Support end-users by providing training and troubleshooting for Power BI solutions
Maintain and improve existing Power BI environments with a focus on scalability and security
Stay updated on the latest features in the Power BI ecosystem including its integration with Azure
Manage the deployment and publication of reports to Power BI Service for organizational use
Ensure high-quality, actionable, and visually engaging deliverables tailored to business objectives

Over 6 years of professional experience in data analysis, using tools like Power BI and SQL
Expertise in Power BI ecosystem including DAX, Power Query, and Custom Visuals
Background in designing and maintaining efficient data models for reporting and analytics
Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration for complex datasets
Proficiency in dashboard development and visualization for clear, data-driven storytelling
Strong understanding of data pipelines, transformations, and optimizations in finance and retail industries
Familiarity with Azure services to complement Power BI implementations
Capability to collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and address requirements
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification

Nice to have

Familiarity with emerging trends in BI tools and technologies
