As a People Operations Specialist, you will ensure that our human resources policies and practices are not only up-to-date but also aligned with regulatory standards, providing a strong backbone for our company's HR functions.

Responsibilities
- Update and maintain accurate employee files with requisite documentation
- Prepare and oversee the audit process for employee documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Serve as the main point of contact with our background investigation provider
- Ensure adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations concerning employment
- Provide advice on best practices regarding internal policies, labor relations, and people-related procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline HR processes and enhance employee satisfaction

- At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources or a closely related field
- Proven experience managing employee documentation and conducting audits of employee files
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher
- Capable of managing complex and ambiguous situations and independently finding solutions
- Experience in implementing internal policies and ensuring compliance with Mexican labor laws
- Familiarity with conducting background investigations or working with external service providers for these services
- Thorough knowledge of Mexican labor law, including Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law, Infonavit, and other local regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential documents
- Proven internal consulting skills on best practices in human resources and labor relations
- Additional certifications in Human Resources such as SHRM or HRCI
- Experience with HR software and information systems
- A background in organizational psychology or related fields
