We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead React Developer to head our front-end development team.
Our client operates a flourishing commerce site serving the US and Canadian markets, with plans to expand into other international areas. In this role, the successful candidate will spearhead the team in analyzing and stabilizing the current build, assisting in the site launch, and overseeing ongoing development leveraging React, Contentful, and commerce tools.

Responsibilities
- Lead the front-end team to analyze and stabilize the existing system to prepare for launch
- Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager, Scrum Master, other front-end and back-end developers, and testers to plan and deliver features
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality features in an efficient manner to align with client's roadmap needs
- Oversee the development process post-launch and implement necessary updates and enhancements
- Work closely with back-end developers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience
- Guide the team in following best practices in coding and design for optimal performance on mobile web, especially iOS / Safari
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends and advancements to incorporate into the development process

- Minimum 5 years experience as a front-end developer
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proficiency in React, Contentful, and commerce tools
- Knowledge of Spring Boot
- Understanding of MACH Commerce principles
- Background in mobile web development with a focus on iOS / Safari environments
- Access to a Mac for development and an iOS device for testing
- Leadership experience or proven competency managing or leading a development team
- Capability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and new technologies
- Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
