Responsibilities
  • Understand current and future adjustments to testing schedules and coverage requirements
  • Supervise daily task assignments to ensure testers focus on high-priority critical testing tasks
  • Track team activities including attendance and challenges, and report findings
  • Assess testers' project effectiveness through reviews and evaluations
  • Facilitate staffing activities to build a well-rounded testing team
  • Resolve defects and issues affecting daily assignments, escalating as required
  • Coordinate testing tasks for a team of 5-20 testers within an established project or initiate testing workflows from the ground up
Requirements
  • 5+ years of software testing experience
  • Background in game testing is an asset
  • B2 level proficiency in English
  • Flexibility to work from the office starting between 9 and 9:30 AM
  • Capability to participate in planned weekend overtime shifts once per quarter
  • Expertise in analyzing and using project documentation
  • Proficiency in documenting functional requirements and conducting specification reviews
  • Competency in planning testing activities, executing processes, and reporting outcomes
  • Understanding of installs and builds operations on consoles and mobile devices
  • Background in knowledge transfers, onboarding, and training team members
  • Qualifications in software quality control processes and the software development life cycle
  • Experience in assessing theoretical knowledge and practical skills of candidates
  • Gamer with familiarity with diverse titles and genres

  • Background in game testing
  • ISTQB certification
