As lead of the Accessibility Testing Specialists (ATS) within the Digital Accessibility Office (DAO), you'll be responsible for managing a team of accessibility testers making sure our external customer-facing websites and applications are universally accessible.
In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of ATS, your work will include ongoing contact with content authors, designers, developers and other business stakeholders across the enterprise.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Reporting to the VP of Web Accessibility under the day to day management of the Director of Web Accessibility, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the ATS team of testers and help drive continuous improvement of accessibility by collaborating with DAO leadership to strengthen business operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage intake requests for accessibility testing.
- Estimate completion turnaround times and manage workload with adequate forecasting.
- Assign work and track tester utilization.
- Set-up test plans for handoff to the testers, obtain access info, and work with site stakeholders to clear any access blockages.
- Prepare test plan from inventories for annual audit testing activity.
- Maintain accurate testing logs and ensure defect statuses are regularly updated.
- Schedule results review sessions to provide accessibility analysis and feedback with developers and the Director of Web Accessibility to help solution defects.
- Track testing statuses and originate comprehensive data reports and dashboards.
- Possess the ability to visually identify accessibility issues in designs, layouts, and wireframes.
- Possess the ability to execute automated and manual testing and provide meaningful feedback.
- When necessary, execute accessibility validation testing on remediated defects.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility policies and regulations (WCAG 2.2 AA, ADA, and Prudential specific requirements) and communicate these in common language.
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- Several years of experience serving as an accessibility lead (project management a plus)
- Extensive understanding of WCAG 2.2 AA, WAI-ARIA, and ADA
- Experience with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, keyboard, etc.)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JAVA, and JavaScript
- CPACC, WAS, ADS, CPWA, Trusted Tester Certification a plus.
- Great communicator with the ability to build relationships between team members.
- Highly motivated, detail oriented, self-starter with problem-solving skills
The current employee work arrangement for this position may be Fully Virtual or Hybrid aligned with a Prudential office. While this position does not require your on-site presence on a regular basis, depending on business preferences, there may be occasions where you are required to be on-site at a Prudential office.

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $92,400.00 to $137,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
