Lead Java Developer

We are thrilled to invite a Lead Java Developer to collaborate with our cross-functional scrum team in a designated business capability POD.
The selected individual will utilize proficiency in Java and Spring Framework, contributing significantly to developing backend solutions that optimize our business processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance the Java codebase
• Build microservices and REST APIs for backend systems
• Conduct unit testing to ensure software reliability
• Maintain high code quality through regular code reviews
• Promote best practices like code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
• Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies to strengthen team dynamics
• Contribute to estimation and planning sessions to align with project objectives
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members

• A degree in Computer Science or a related field; preference for a Master's degree
• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• Over 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Capability to design APIs and familiarity with microservices architecture
• Background in financial services, ideally in wealth management
• Exceptional English communication skills (written and spoken at C1 level)
