Lead Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our growing team and help drive new opportunities in various business domains.

In this role, you will work with clients from the US/UK, setting up a business analysis approach on projects of different scales and complexity, driving the BA team, and learning and sharing BA best practices in the company.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, a well-equipped office in Tbilisi or coworking spaces in Batumi and Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Elicit requirements (using different techniques)
  • Define Business Goals, Needs and Objectives
  • Identify improvement opportunities for product, process and a team
  • Plan Business Analysis, including Business Analysis Information Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Communication (artifacts templates, documents structure, process flow, etc.) at multi-stream or large-scale projects
  • Create stakeholder engagement approach and monitor in order to keep them actively involved in the delivery process
  • Translate business needs into requirements (Functional, Non-functional, Transition)
  • Choose new or adapt existing requirement's documentation framework to project needs
  • Select requirements change management approach and ensure the correct level of traceability to support it
  • Align solution with business Goals / Needs / Objectives
  • Plan BA activities and facilitate during the Discovery phase
  • Manage project/product backlog
  • Advise and align requirements prioritization approach at all levels
  • Play BA Team Lead role in the project
  • Conduct Technical Interviews for BA positions
  • Mentor or coach other BAs within the project team or organization

  • At least 5 years of relevant BA experience
  • Expertise in creating different types of requirements (e.g., business, user, system, transition requirements etc.)
  • Ability to effectively guide elicitation activities at multi-stream or large-scale projects
  • Skills to identify and resolve inconsistencies in project/product requirements
  • Experience in working with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe) or classic one (e.g. RUP)
  • Expertise in planning Business Analysis Approach on the project and facilitation of related communication
  • Ability to create/adapt a set of templates to be used in the project
  • Acquaintance witharrangement andfacilitation of stakeholder communication across different levels using wide variety of relevant techniques (e.g., workshops, meetings, interviews, etc.)
  • Skills to acquire new information about the project, product and domain quickly from different sources
  • Experience in creating diagrams (e.g., in UML, BPMN)
  • Understanding and ability to propose suitable software development processes and influence/enhance it
  • Ability to effectively guide BA activities across all delivery phases (e.g., elicitation, requirements management etc.)
  • Expertise in project/product scope management
  • Scope creep control
  • Ability to accurately assesses project/business analysis risks and act accordingly
  • Experience in BA efforts estimation (including large scale projects), modeling and prototyping
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one requirements management tool (Jira, Target Process, Rally, etc.)
  • Experience in BAs mentoring/coaching, in leading a team of BAs
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and synthesizing skills
  • Product mindset
  • English Level: C1
