We are seeking an experienced Lead BI Analyst/Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal role, you are responsible for leading business intelligence projects, enhancing system integrations, and aligning IT systems with business objectives. Working collaboratively across various teams, you will lead improvements in processes and deploy efficient, scalable solutions. Success in this role requires proficiency in addressing complex system challenges and providing actionable insights through sophisticated analytics.

Responsibilities

• Devise and execute effective BI and analytics strategies
• Lead backend integration initiatives utilizing API and microservices architectures
• Oversee both relational and non-relational databases
• Develop and update UML diagrams and business process models
• Oversee the software development lifecycle to maintain best practices
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and oversee updates throughout the project lifecycle
• Work with engineers and other stakeholders in a Scrum team environment
• Identify, evaluate, and address project risks and concerns
• Present complex data insights to stakeholders via compelling presentations
• Schedule and oversee project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion

• Minimum 5 years of experience in BI/Business Analysis/System Analysis roles
• 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in backend integrations using API and microservices
• Sound competency in managing both relational and non-relational databases
• Proficiency in using UML diagrams for business process modeling
• Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements
• Capability to create and manage high-quality technical documentation
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving prowess
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Organizational skills to effectively manage project timelines
• English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level (B2+) or higher

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Integration & ETL processes
• Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman
• Background in the travel domain
• Experience with NoSQL databases
