We are seeking a Chief Manual Tester to optimize our QA processes.
You will play a key role in leading the QA team and ensuring the production of high-quality software. Your background in functional testing will allow us to sustain an effective testing strategy while accommodating project-specific requirements. Responsibilities
- Define and update the Test Plan and Test Strategy based on project requirements
- Coordinate QA Team activities, including planning, estimation, and prioritization of tasks
- Manage process changes and implement improvements to address project developments
- Update Jira dashboards, compile QA statistics, and provide status reporting
- Lead team efforts to progress in automation projects
- Authorize Sprint sign-offs and support production deployment efforts
- Deliver constructive performance feedback to team members
- Attend grooming, planning, and daily standup meetings
- Ensure effective communication across distributed teams in various locations
- Serve as a representative of the offshore team during on-site engagements
- Perform functional testing of e-commerce applications on diverse platforms
- Validate web analytics using tools such as Adobe Analytics
- Analyze product requirements for completeness and consistency
- Log and verify defects with accurate and detailed descriptions

- 7+ years of experience in QA focused on functional testing
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing QA teams with 5-8 engineers
- Background in mobile and API/Web services testing at a basic level
- Capability to define and refine Testing Strategy
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Reliability and independence in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to adapt to dynamic project demands
- Proficiency in Behavior Driven Development and Gherkin language
- Knowledge of the e-commerce domain
