We are seeking a motivated Automation Tester in JavaScript to join our dynamic team and contribute to our quality assurance efforts through innovative automated testing.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop automated testing strategies that align with Agile processes. Your expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks will help drive quality engineering practices and continuous improvement within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Work within Agile processes adapted to the team's and project's needs
  • Collaborate with Product Owner and stakeholders to understand product requirements and identify quality assurance needs
  • Engage with product teams to design Behavior Driven Development test scenarios and cases using the Test Automation framework integrated with XRay
  • Establish a robust test automation strategy, ensuring best practices are implemented
  • Implement risk-based testing strategies prioritizing testing efforts based on the impact and likelihood of failure
  • Execute test cases to validate software functionality and identify potential defects
  • Identify and track defects by analyzing network requests and debugging JavaScript code
  • Conduct regression test execution to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after changes
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and assess overall user experience
  • Thoroughly analyze and report regression results to ensure accurate project progress assessment
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Jenkins
  • Support non-functional requirements testing in performance, load, security, and accessibility
  • Contribute to the Agile Quality Assurance community by sharing best practices and insights

  • 2+ years of work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer and Test Automation Engineer
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript along with Playwright, Mocha, Chai, and Cucumber
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, XRay, HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation, RESTful APIs, and JSON
  • Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks tailored to project requirements
  • Ability to write efficient scripts and troubleshoot issues with strong debugging skills
  • Skilled in functional testing, building comprehensive test plans, and executing various test types
  • Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with performance/load testing tools
  • Experience in CI/CD processes using Jenkins, integrating test automation with proper quality gates
  • Understanding of security and accessibility testing practices
  • Experience with exploratory testing techniques
  • Knowledge of mocking test data to simulate various scenarios
  • Understanding of version control systems including Git and Bitbucket
