Automation Tester in Java

We seek an Automation Tester skilled in Java to be part of our energetic team.
The chosen applicant will be tasked with designing, developing, and deploying automation scripts that confirm the quality and function of software applications. The role includes working collaboratively within a team setting to sustain and improve the testing automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Implement automation for regression, functional, and smoke test cases
• Organize and execute automation activities while maintaining testing standards
• Identify and solve system issues effectively and imaginatively
• Implement automation for back-end services (REST APIs) and front-end
• Identify and log defects
• Oversee test data and environments
• Handle version control of test scripts

• 2+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance with proficiency in test automation development or a mix of development and testing
• Expertise in Selenium, REST testing, and experience with integration of test suites into the CI/CD pipeline
• Skills in constructing and managing automation scripts that fulfill acceptance criteria
• Background in agile methodology
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
• Capable level of manual testing

• Knowledge of additional automation tools like Appium or Cucumber
• Capability to conduct performance testing
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development)
• Experience with cloud technology platforms such as AWS or Azure
