Automation Tester in Java

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester proficient in Java to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will be tasked with designing, developing, and executing automation scripts to guarantee the quality and functionality of software applications. This role requires working collaboratively within a team to sustain and improve the testing automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Design functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
• Implement automations for regression, functional, and smoke testing
• Organize and lead automation tasks to meet testing standards
• Identify and address system issues with creativity and efficiency
• Implement automation testing for back-end services (REST APIs) and front-end scenarios
• Record and report defects
• Oversee test data and testing environments
• Oversee versions of test scripts

• 2+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance with expertise in test automation development or a combination of development and testing
• Proficiency in Selenium, REST testing, and integration of test suites with the CI/CD pipeline
• Expertise in creating and maintaining automation scripts to meet acceptance criteria
• Background in agile methodology
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Competency in manual testing at a robust level

• Knowledge of additional automation tools like Appium or Cucumber
• Background in performance testing
• Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) methodology
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
