We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester in Java to join our team and improve testing processes for a leading Wealth Management client.
In this role, you will ensure the quality and reliability of software products through automated testing. Collaborating closely with the development team, you will design and implement test strategies focused on both back-end services and front-end applications. Your expertise will contribute to building a strong automation framework and streamlining testing efforts within an agile environment.

Responsibilities
- Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases
- Automate regression, functional, and smoke test cases
- Plan automation tasks while maintaining testing standards
- Identify and resolve system issues creatively and effectively
- Design automated tests for back-end services and front-end applications
- Document and report defects clearly
- Manage test data and test environments efficiently
- Oversee version management for test scripts

- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience with at least 2+ years in test automation development or a mix of development and testing
- Background in REST testing and using Selenium or similar tools
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining automation scripts for acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with agile methodology and CI/CD pipeline integrations
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Understanding of manual testing concepts at a proficient level
- Understanding of Cucumber
- Competency in Java
- Familiarity with Jira and SQL
- Knowledge of qTest
