Financial Reporting
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with the company reporting guidelines and K-GAAP.
Oversee the consolidation of financial results from multiple entities, with total revenue of approximately 1 trillion KRW.
Monitor balance sheet analysis with supporting documentation, including account analysis and reconciliations.
Review P&L activities, investigating any unusual activities with a specific focus on sensitive areas such T&E, no charge merchandise, and other areas of focus and risk as they evolve.
Actively participate in the community of practice forum, lead governance processes and make proposals for entities accordingly.

Review KPIs and implement corrective actions, if any, with organization process owners.
Liaise with external auditors to ensure all audit requirements are met.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments.
Compliance
Lead the internal control process including SOX controls and control assessment, especially with the new business requirements.
Control the operational process to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Develop and refine the policies and procedures as needed and monitor changes in global policies to ensure alignment with local policies.
Ensure adherence to statutory reporting requirements.
Leadership
Provide strategic direction and guidance to the accounting team.
Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team across multiple legal entities.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Optimize the use of the shared service center for efficient transaction processing.
Operational Efficiency
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
Implement best practices in financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership team, Regional or Global governance groups, auditors and government authorities.
Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives and projects.
Qualifications
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Proven experience managing accounting operations for multiple legal entities.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.
Experience in a large, complex organization.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with shared service centers and matrix organizations is preferred.
