Eaton's Distributed IT business is hiring a Manager - White Space Applications in Woodridge, IL. Relocation is offered for this position. This position requires up to 15% travel.

What you'll do:

Seeking a talented and experienced Manager - White Space Applications to lead a cross-functional team dedicated in developing and promoting products specifically for white space applications. Reporting to Director of Product Management, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, coordination, and management of the team that includes Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Service, and Program Management. The primary objective will be to execute strategy to further penetrate the accelerated computing market while determining product portfolios and GTM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development, developing and leading cross-functional teams, meeting sales expectations, and product development.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and meet budget and revenue & margin requirements.
• Determine and execute strategy to expand white space initiative based on existing business and voice-of-customer.
• Develop marketing collateral to drive awareness and sales tools to increase engagement and enablement.
• Develop, maintain, and implement product line strategies/roadmaps and technology plans specific to data center applications globally.
• Collaborate with global business units to align strategies and provide customer first offerings.
• Catalyst within Data Center segment strategy team to drive alignment with GTM to ensure right-to-win.
• Conduct voice of the customer (VOC), primary, secondary, and observational research to facilitate the development of product plans, and identification of new products and service opportunities.
• Develop quantified value propositions to clearly articulate the differentiation of products to customers, channel partners and sales.
• Work collaboratively with regional marketing, marketing communications, and digital marketing to develop appropriate marketing plans to ensure we clearly articulate our value proposition to customers, channel partners, and sales.
• Collaborate with functional leaders to ensure best practices and prioritization within each cross-functional team member.
• Lead and mentor a team of cross-functional members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback, training, and development opportunities for team members.
• Ensure timely completion of data center projects, meeting quality standards and budgetary constraints.
• Escalate opportunities for improvement and drive towards completion to meet timelines while identifying and mitigating risks.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a matrix organization.
• Minimum 5 years of prior experience in data center applications.
• Solid understanding of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, networking, and security.
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for data center operations and management.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet committed deadlines.
• Work will require meeting with customers, suppliers, partners in the field.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $136500.03 - $200200.04 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
