Eaton's Electrical Sector is hiring a Regional Vice President with excellent leadership skills to manage a customer base, sales resources, products, and channels to market to achieve planned results while steering the district sales teams and manufacturer rep agencies. This position requires 50% travel and must be located within 50 miles of Houston, TX, Dallas, TX and/or Austin, TX.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Sales, North America - Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions business, this role will develop and implement the territory's overall strategy. The Regional Vice President will be accountable to lead, direct and develop a team that will have the responsibility of achieving the established sales and margin goals, while managing agents, channel partners and end users. This individual will be well versed with developing and executing a regional sales/operating plan that focuses on leading the market against our competitors.

What you'll do:

  • Owns the development of the territory strategy and ensures alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Executes and communicates a compelling strategic value proposition through sales agents, distributors, specifiers, and end users.
  • Plans and directs the efforts of the sales teams in securing sales volume through conversion and specifying activities.
  • Gathers and leverages the voice of customer to recommend new or modified programs to ensure a competitive position is maintained within the market.
  • Utilizes negotiation skills to influence and resolve complex problems and influence all stakeholders to drive results.
  • Establishes and monitors staff performance and development goals, sets objectives, establishes priorities, and holds accountable by providing timely coaching and feedback.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from accredited institution.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in electrical industry experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of manager of people experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
• No relocation is offered for this position. All candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Houston, TX, Dallas, TX, and/or Austin, TX to be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or advanced degree.
• Ten (10) years of electrical industry sales experience.
• Entrepreneurial leader with experience leading, mentoring, and coaching a sales team with a diverse level of expertise.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $152884.62 - $224230.78 a year. This role is also eligible for a variable incentive program.
