What you'll do:

This role within the Global Finance Services & Systems (GFSS) organization focuses on successful delivery of Purchase to Pay services to EMEA business, strategic change, process improvements and cost reduction with special focus on increasing service quality provided by our shared services through implementing and improving finance end to end processes across all business, divisions and functions within the EMEA region by leveraging Genpact and working collaboratively with other GFSS centers, EMEA Controllership Team, Global process owners across Eaton.

  • Active involvement in the development and execution of the GFSS strategy representing regional PTP function including close coordination and input from regional business, functional leaders and global leaders
  • Development and execution of short term and long term regional performance objectives aligned to both regional and global targets, including:
  • Drive improvements and actions plans to achieve desired world class results by working across the organization and external benchmarking for best in class practices. Build organizational capability and foster employee involvement in continuous improvement efforts, through empowering teams and team members to be decision makers. Manage continues improvement initiatives for regionally based support activities in Budapest, Hungary and Glasgow, UK and global initiatives in coordination with support activities in Pune service center and Genpact., eventually deliver efficiency via automation, standardization and digitalization
  • Build internal relationships (operational and functional leadership) and external relationships (audit firms, suppliers and banking partners) to ensure alignment of strategies and goals.
  • Identify functional needs of Customers and Key Stakeholders including corporate controllership team, Internal Audit, Tax and Treasury and deliver solutions to further improve regional customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Economics, Finance or Accounting degree or international equivalent
  • 10 + years of SSC experience, at least 5 years managerial experience preferably in Purchase to Pay/ Accounts Payable function
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, familiar with various international accounting practices is a plus

Skills:

  • Experience at a Multi-National Corporation
  • Process Improvement (LEAN / Six Sigma) experience
  • Exposure to SOX and similar regulations
