The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a part of the Enterprise Services team, the Associate Technical Writers will create documentation, in-product help and other content that help clients and collaborators to use DTCC products correctly. They develop knowledge of given DTCC products and gather information on business line strategies and initiatives along with end user needs to apply in developing documentation solutions that optimize the client experience, supporting's more independent use of DTCC products. Types of deliverables include user guides, in-product help, technical specifications, standard process documents, FAQs and more.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Create documentation, in-product help and other content that help users to more independently and efficiently use DTCC products, ensuring accuracy and quality of all deliverables
  • Translate technical concepts into clear, easy-to-understand, engaging and logically organized content
  • Assist in maintenance and/or development of content on the DTCC Learning Center
  • Develop deep understanding of one or more DTCC business areas
  • Build and nurture relationships, collaborating with a range of stakeholders
  • Adhere to defined documentation processes and standards established within DTCC Learning
  • Follow prescribed templates in Microsoft Office and/or MadCap Flare to create documentation and in-product help content
  • Keep up to date with and apply emerging and current learning/documentation/curation trends and best practices
  • Participate in and contribute to DTCC Learning initiatives to advance our client enablement content
  • Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

  • Excellent written communication and editing capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively meet deadlines
  • Proficient to advanced MS Word and or MadCap Flare skills; MS Suite, and Sharepoint.
