Going Out is an exciting new vector for DoorDash. We're driving DoorDash customers into our partners' physical stores, boosting sales and building long-term loyalty across every channel.
We're crafting a seamless, exciting dining experience-from discovery to dessert. Right now, Going Out lives in the DoorDash app, featuring top restaurant recommendations and exclusive in-store discounts. But we're just getting started-VIP experiences, loyalty perks, reservations, payments, and more are on the way.
We're a scrappy, fast-moving team building a startup within a big company. We take risks, move fast, and roll up our sleeves to make things happen.
About the Role

You will lead the customer Strategy & Operation pod for our Going Out product. This means you will own critical pieces of our strategy including Cx go to market, merchandising, DoorDash product interactions i.e. Dashpass and Pickup, Cx conversion and retention; as well as new product incubation, testing, and launch. Your ultimate metric will be driving more in-store orders from DoorDash customers. This role will have 3-4 direct reports so people management experience is required. This is a highly visible, highly XFN role that interfaces daily with product, marketing, analytics and sales.

We're excited about you because...
- You have 8+ years of experience in a role in strategy & operations, business planning, consulting, or product marketing (advertising experience a plus). Start up/early stage experience is a plus.
- You have a proven track record of successfully owning revenue or growth goals, leading complex projects, and working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment.
- You're a data-driven problem solver who is fluent in Excel/Google Sheets and have basic/intermediate+ SQL experience; you're eager to dive into difficult problems without a playbook, diagnose root causes, analyze data, and devise an action plan.
- You thrive while wearing multiple hats and working across a variety of projects and workstreams.
We expect this position to be filled by 5/18/2025.
Compensation
The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location.Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
