Main purpose of the job:
The HR Operations team is engaged in the administration of a broad range of HR activities associated with the employment cycle. The team acts as the first point of contact for queries from managers and staff across the market and also provides a comprehensive administrative support service to the human resources team, supporting projects undertaken within the human resources department. The AVP - HR Operations will lead the provision of a high quality and adaptable HR Service, co-ordinating the workflow and ensuring that the operations team is effectively motivated in the continuous improvement of all HR Operations.

Key areas of responsibility:
- Lead team to ensure delivery of an excellent and accurate HR operations service to customers.
- Act as a role model for HR Co-ordinators and HR Assistant, mentor and developing team members to ensure an excellent level of performance and that they reach their potential.
- Supervise the delivery of HR Operations, leading the workflow to ensure, accurate, high quality and timely provision of services to all customers within the HR department and across the university.
- Develop and evaluate the performance of the team with a view to identifying ways of improving performance levels.
- Facilitate the development of standard operating procedures and service standards, ensuring that these are assessed to ensure the high quality and consistent delivery of HR services.
- Support the Team as necessary to ensure smooth operational delivery.
- Collaborate with the centers for consistent service delivery.
- Working closely with the Market Stakeholders for all assigned markets, First Point Leadership team, Global Process Delivery teams, to lead the team's operations.
- Leads the process improvement and simplification agenda as part of the project inputs
- Regularly reviews Operational Metrics, Business Metrics to achieve Excellent Operations and drive improvements.
- Ensure Adherence of SLA as set by time to time.
- Assess and Lead team critical metric and takes vital actions.
- Partner with Internal and external customers
Knowledge and experience
- People management experience in HR Operations
- Significant administrative experience within an HR environment
- Proficiency in English
- Microsoft Office software knowledge
- Partner Management
- Analytical and encouraging Innovation
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service
- Experience of acting as a mentor and coach
- Working knowledge and experience of HR information systems and reporting tools
- Previous experience using cloud-based HR, Workday, SNOW, EIC or SAP HR applications and systems is desirable.
