Position Summary

The Work You'll Do

Finance Systems is looking for a Portfolio Manager with SAP Contract to Cash expertise to drive the operation, enhancement, and integration of finance-led systems. In this role, you will cover project delivery, user support and continuous improvement (enhancements), but this is not a functional or technical SAP role, there is no configuration or technical development work. On your typical engagement, you will work with the key stakeholders to understand their needs and advise on SAP system capabilities. You will initiate the requirement gathering, architect solutions, blueprinting, testing (UAT), change management, training, cutover and hypercare. Liaise with the stakeholders and technical team to translate needs into business solutions and complete the configurations and/or integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Relay the business strategy into technical requirements; communicate requirements to technical teams
  • Complete all assigned implementation deliverables as Finance Systems Lead to deadlines for engagement projects and enhancements.
  • Participates in the rollout of developed SAP S4HANA solutions and processes across designated markets as they go live, specifically within SD and AR.
  • Lead scope management, fit/gap analysis, acceptance testing, data migration, and change management to SAP S4 HANA at the direction of the SAP team.
  • Understand the integrations across the portfolio of systems and impacts to the business processes with these datapoints.
  • Oversee the resolution of application and data integrity or other production issues.
  • Oversee and coordinate testing efforts for enhancements or deployments of financial system with the testing team, contributing by writing test cases/scenarios as necessary.
  • Provide content and review for Change Management related to user training and user support content in different suitable formats.
  • Resolve user issues in a timely manner, directly or through liaising with the SAP support team.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Sales and Finance system processes.
  • Provide regular status updates to Business leadership escalating issues as needed.
  • Adhere to deadlines, both internally and cross-functionally, to meet close responsibilities by ensuring implementation is not delayed.

  • Superior project management skills with demonstrated experience successfully managing a cross-functional or cross-departmental team on a complex project.

The Team

Finance Systems serves as US finance application portfolio subject matter experts, to implement and manage innovative solutions and changes through governance and change management to meet the technology needs of finance and the US firm. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • SAP S4 Hana experience with a strong understanding of financial processes and a passion for improving business operations.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Sales & Distribution & Accounts Receivable modules as an end user / key user / super user / business lead
  • Deep understanding of finance systems and processes related to the engagement management lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting and financial principles
  • Limited sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration/Management, or related IT discipline

This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Jersey City, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York state, Washington state and Washington D.C. and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $163,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
