DaVita is currently seeking a Director of Finance to join Team Paladin. Team Paladin is responsible for Revenue FP&A and Policy Analytics for the Village. This role is based in Denver, Colorado at our World Headquarters and will be hybrid in office 3 days per week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Overall: Act as the subject matter expert and leader for revenue finance and analytics within the organization
- Thought leader: Interpret data, develop solutions, and effectively communicate recommendations and results to senior leadership, including DaVita senior executive team

- Project and process leader: Serve as value-added thought partner to leadership of specialized revenue teams within the organization
- Talent leader: Recruit, develop and retain high performing financial managers and analysts to support DaVita in achieving financial, operating and growth goals
- Proactively generate insights and identify trends in results through analyses of financial data, variance to budget, tracking to forecast, etc. on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Communicate financial results to DaVita's senior executive leadership, up to and including DaVita's CFO
- Lead monthly forecast process for revenue growth to support real-time decision making across the organization
- Lead annual forecast process for multi-year revenue growth to support strategic direction setting for the organization
- Analyze financial impact of federal and state legislation and regulations
- Provide critical insights on Medicare reimbursement and forecast
- Provide actionable insights into revenue trends
- Identify and recommend opportunities for revenue improvement
- Develop and implement tools and processes to drive realization of revenue opportunities
- Contribute to and prepare presentations for senior management as needed
- Other strategic, operational, financial or special projects as needed
- Expected to travel up to 10% of the time
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA, Masters in Finance) preferred but not required
- 8+ years' experience in corporate finance, FP&A or consulting; equivalent certification (e.g. CFA, CPA, Experience with quantitative modeling and analytical methods, such as financial forecasting, valuation analyses, operations analytics, etc.
- Demonstrable knowledge of financial statements, the relationships among them and the underlying business operations they represent
- Healthcare industry experience and/or multi-site operations experience preferred
- Knowledge of healthcare industry revenue processes and accounting a strong plus
- Superior project leadership experience
- Simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projects for competing internal clients
- Assume ownership and accountability for projects, including the timely delivery and quality of the final work product
- Outstanding communication skills, including successful track record of presenting to corporate executives
- Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at all levels of the organization from analysts to senior executive leadership
- Team player with a great attitude who has fun at work
- Superior judgment and decision making skills
- Stretch "up" and "down" in responsibilities as needed
- Expert level computer skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)

Salary/ Wage Range
$121,200.00 - $177,900.00 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
