CVS Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a IT Resiliency tester, part of the Infrastructure Operations & Service Delivery organization. You will be responsible for the execution of the Technology Resiliency tests for the technology organization including planning, execution, reporting and evaluation of resiliency & disaster recovery (DR) tests to ensure the effectiveness and readiness of our organization's availability and recovery plans. You will play a critical role in identifying resiliency gaps, improving recovery procedures, minimizing downtime and improving availability of our critical applications and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Develop comprehensive resiliency and DR test plans, including objectives, scope, scenarios, test scripts, and success criteria in alignment with business & operational requirements and regulatory standards
Test Schedules: Creation and coordinate testing schedules and execution with cross functional teams including Operations, security, business continuity and external vendors with minimal impact to production systems
Execution: Lead the facilitation and execution of resiliency and DR tests, simulating various scenarios to validate failover and recovery procedures, RTO and RPO
Documentation and Reporting: Document test results, observations and lessons learned from each test clearly identifying areas of improvement and recommendations for improving the effectiveness of our resiliency posture
Risk Management: Identify and proactively address any risks associated with test plans, scheduled and execution and assist in their mitigation to ensure availability and security of our systems and data during testing.
Continuous Improvement: Analyze test results and feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing testing plans. As an outcome of testing, document actionable remediations that need to be taken to improve resiliency and assist in the execution of the remediations.
Communication: Communicate test plans, schedules, progress updates, results, metrics and findings to stakeholders and senior leadership to foster awareness and confidence in the organizations resiliency and DR capabilities
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT industry.
- 3+ years experience in Resiliency and DR planning, testing and execution.
- 3+ years implementing DR concepts, methodologies and best practices
- 2+ years experience in working with IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, network devices, and cloud services (Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud).
- 2+ years experience with resiliency and DR tools and technologies such as High availability, clusters, replication, backups, failover, DNS etc.
- 1+ years experience in project management and coordination skills with the the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical capability to assess complex IT environment and identify risks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Certifications in DR planning and related areas (such as CBCP, DRP etc.) are a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
The typical pay range for this role is:
$101,970.00 - $203,940.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
