CVS Health is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Medicaid Finance Central Reporting team. This role will function as the Senior Analyst for the Aetna Medicaid markets and will help the respective achieve its financial and strategic goals. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for the development and maintenance of structured reports and ad-hoc analyses that support financial operations and strategic decision making for all Aetna Medicaid markets.

Responsibilities

1. Translates complex data into information and assists users in its interpretation to support decision making.

2. Collaborates with other business areas to gather policy and program information.

3. Provides consultation on the design, testing, and enhancement of reports including technical assistance support to internal customers.

4. Develops and maintains Medicaid financial reports using SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Scope of reporting and analysis responsibilities include but not limited to: Member Benefit Ratio, Financial Restatement, Revenue Reconciliation, Enrollment Reconciliation, Member Redetermination, State required Cost Reporting and Valued Based Services (VBS).

5. Critically reviews existing processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency. Uses knowledge of data to ensure reports are in line with business policies and requirements.

6. Works independently to test and research data to ensure reports are complete and accurate.

7. Contributes to a motivated work environment by working effectively to achieve common goals.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience with Finance and/or healthcare claims analyses

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with using Microsoft SQL Server to analyze data

Experience with Microsoft Excel

Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

Concentration in Finance, Business, Statistics or related field strongly preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
