DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician - Level IV to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount, NC.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Ensuring Safety : By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards, you will help maintain a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety.
  • Adhering to Standards : Complying with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations ensures that safety and environmental guidelines are met, protecting both employees and the environment.
  • Maintaining Quality : Applying high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship, and performing quality inspections, will help maintain the integrity and reliability of the manufacturing process.
  • Supporting Equipment Maintenance : Providing feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and supporting equipment failure analysis will help ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Leading and Coordinating : Acting as a formal resource to lead and coordinate others will help build a knowledgeable and skilled team, enhancing overall productivity.
  • Adapting to Change : Quickly and effectively adapting to changes in the manufacturing environment will ensure that you can handle new challenges and maintain efficiency.
  • Problem Solving and Improvement : Working with peers and support staff to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and improve processes will drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Effective Communication : Communicating effectively with your team and support teams will foster collaboration and ensure that everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Apply Manufacturing Knowledge : Demonstrate your knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications. This will meet the function's needs and contribute to continuous improvement.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Significant work experience and in-depth knowledge obtained through specialized training and relevant experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Additional Information:

-Primarily working in the ECC (Engineering Change Control) group supporting Engineering Releases (ER), review and route changes.

-Work with tactical/Re-tool team with releases, CMES, Oracle, IMS.

-Deviations: Raising, Approving/Rejecting, notification for expiring deviations, printing deviations.

-Access prints and NEBS specs in Windchill

-Create visual aids for CMES

-Basic to Intermediate Computer skills - MS Office

Compensation:

Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
