Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Prefer significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
- Own Tool List Updates: Maintain and update the tool list to ensure accuracy and availability of necessary tools for production.
- Identifying Requirements for New Tools: Assess and determine the tooling needs for new engine models, ensuring that all required tools are identified and sourced.
- Tooling Programming & Setup: Create and configure psets (programming sets), tool setup, and installation of tools.
- Experience in Assembly Torque Tools and Systems: Implementation of Atlas tools and systems, Toolsnet, Toolstalk, and various types of torque tools.
- Knowledge in Position Control Systems: Work with position control systems like Smart Arm or equivalent systems and ensure that the sequence of the torques are followed.
- Spare Tool and Parts Setup: Setup and management of spare tool and parts requirements, including identifying and purchasing any special tools required.
- Coordination with IE Tech: Collaborate with the IE team for engine orientation, part orientation, and station-wise work contents to plan and implement the right tools for each station.
- Collaboration with ME Tech and Other Teams: Coordinate with ME Tech teams to support the assembly line tooling requirements.
