DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Skilled Technician - Level II to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Rocky Mount NC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support Manufacturing Needs : Perform skilled activities using appropriate tools and machinery, ensuring smooth operations with minimal guidance.
- Ensure Safety : Adhere to HSE standards, report hazards, and use personal protective equipment to maintain a safe work environment.
- Promote Environmental Responsibility : Recognize and minimize the negative impact of your work on the environment.
- Maintain High Quality : Apply high standards of workmanship, follow quality procedures, and perform inspections to ensure top-notch output.
- Enhance Equipment Reliability : Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis and provide feedback for preventive maintenance.
- Efficient Delivery : Perform and document maintenance activities, maintain a clean work area, and complete miscellaneous tasks to meet business goals.
- Collaborate and Improve : Work with peers to identify and reduce manufacturing constraints, solve problems, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Effective Communication and Development : Communicate effectively with your team, complete necessary training, and actively participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams to improve processes and employee development.

- Engage in Continuous Improvement : Actively participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency in your work processes.
- Maintain a Clean and Orderly Work Area : Ensure your work area is clean and organized, which supports safety and efficiency in your daily tasks.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

Compensation:
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
