Night Shift Process Technician

DESCRIPTION

Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment completing work with limited guidance. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)

Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards.

Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.

Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.

Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system.

Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.

Performs quality inspections.

Delivery

Performs the skilled activities expected by their roles in accordance with defined roles and responsibilities.

Repairs and maintains equipment.

Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.

Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.

Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet business goals.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.

  • Monitor and control production processes to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and production targets.Operate and maintain process equipment, including Robots, HMI's, Parameters, and control systems.Perform routine inspections and maintenance activities to identify and resolve equipment malfunctions or abnormalities.Troubleshoot process-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to develop and implement process improvements, including efficiency enhancements and cost reduction initiatives.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and safety procedures.Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on process operations, safety protocols, and equipment maintenance systems.Participate in safety meetings, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, equipment logs, maintenance records, and production reports.
  • Must be Team oriented, driven to succeed and be a leader.
