DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Rocky Mount, NC office.
Job Summary:
Supervises the daily activities of a production unit or teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Team Management: Effectively manage the daily activities of the production team, including overseeing team members and maintaining housekeeping standards.
- Production Targets: Ensure the team meets production goals and targets consistently.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with other departments to recommend and implement improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Project Leadership: Serve as the group lead on various projects and work assignments.
- Guidance and Feedback: Provide clear guidance and constructive feedback to team members to help them accomplish tasks and achieve goals.
- Expectation Setting: Set clear expectations and clarify responsibilities for team members.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and capabilities.
- Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement activities to enhance overall operations.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Supervisory experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous management experience preferred. Have high volume, fast pace production and weekend schedules. Communicator and coach, mentor to team members in a Team Base atmosphere.
