DESCRIPTION
The Line Human Resources Generalist - Senior leads human resources business processes for a moderately complex organization or multiple functions. The role focuses on improving, deploying, and ensuring the effectiveness of a broad range of HR processes, while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and adherence to HR policies. This position also involves partnering with managers and employees to address issues and drive people-centered initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations
- Oversee payroll, full-and-final settlements, audits, and frontline employee operations.
- Ensure legal compliance with labor laws, HR policies, and adherence to organizational policies.
- Liaise with government authorities for obtaining licenses and registrations.

Talent Management
- Manage recruitment processes, including flexible manpower and trainee hiring.
- Support employee lifecycle activities such as learning and development, exits, and transfers.
- Lead performance management and employee development planning initiatives.
HR Business Partnering
- Serve as an HR business partner for the Nagar plant, addressing talent and business needs.
- Provide HR consulting services to support business and functional goals.
- Support labor negotiations and implementation of settlement agreements.
Policy and Compliance
- Ensure alignment with HR policies and local labor regulations.
- Conduct and document investigations related to compliance and employee relations.
Strategic HR Initiatives
- Facilitate workforce planning, headcount forecasting, and job design analysis.
- Lead organizational design efforts to optimize team structures.
- Identify and address training needs and participate in special HR projects.
Compensation and Benefits
- Manage compensation processes in partnership with shared services.
- Administer benefits and develop workforce compensation recommendations.
Employee Relations
- Build constructive relationships with employees and stakeholders.
- Mediate conflicts, provide coaching, and create a collaborative work environment.
Data and Process Management
- Maintain accurate workforce data in HR systems.
- Apply data analytics to provide insights that inform HR strategies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience Needed
- 8-12 years of relevant work experience in HR operations, talent management, or HR consulting.
- Excellent communication skills with strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Must have exposure in long term settlements.
- Proficiency in HR data management systems and analytics.
- Proven ability to manage complex HR processes, including performance management, organizational design, and compensation administration.
- Experience in conflict resolution, labor negotiations, and coaching.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required. Equivalent experience may be considered.
