DESCRIPTION
Leads human resources business processes for a moderately complex organization or multiple functions. Responsible for the improvement, deployment, and effectiveness of a broad range of Human Resources processes across the business or functional organization. Ensures compliance with legislative requirements and adherence to human resources policies and processes. Partners with managers and employees to resolve issues and concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Operations : Manage payroll, full and final settlements, audits, functional excellence, and ensure compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Talent Management : Handle recruitment for flexi manpower (trainees), learning and development, employee exits, and transfers.
- HR Business Partnering : Act as an HR Business Partner for the Ranjangaon facility, providing support on various HR functions.
- Labour Relations and Compliance : Ensure labor law compliance and act as a liaison with government authorities for licenses and registrations.
- Labour Negotiations : Develop negotiation strategies and tactics, contribute to settlement discussions, and oversee implementation.
- Employee Advocacy : Address and resolve genuine employee grievances, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.
- HR Policy Compliance : Ensure adherence to company HR policies and guidelines across all functions.
- Workforce Management : Provide staffing and recruiting support, job design evaluation, headcount forecasting, and workforce analysis.
- Performance Management : Lead performance and employee development planning, facilitating training needs assessments and career progression initiatives.
- Compensation and Benefits : Facilitate compensation processes, administer benefits, and implement workforce compensation recommendations in partnership with shared services.
- Investigations : Conduct and document investigations within the organization, ensuring fairness and compliance with Cummins' standards.
- Data Management : Maintain the accuracy and completeness of workforce information in HR systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience:
- 8-12 years of relevant work experience in human resources operations, consulting, or related fields.
- Excellent communication skills with strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Must have exposure in long term settlements.
- Proficiency in HR data management systems and analytics.
- Proven ability to manage complex HR processes, including performance management, organizational design, and compensation administration.
- Experience in conflict resolution, labor negotiations, and coaching.
