DESCRIPTION
Key Responsibilities:
Operates analytical instruments and equipment and performs physical analysis in support of production and non-production engineering, quality, and manufacturing groups. Acquires and interprets data and documents results; provides written results in a laboratory or technical report format when appropriate. Develops and documents laboratory methods. Performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repair of instruments and equipment. Understands and applies appropriate company and department rules and guidelines to work. Works with and trains apprentices, trainees, and technicians. Interfaces with customers, suppliers, engineers, and other functions. Coordinates programs including planning, scheduling, ordering, and tracking. Participates in the maintenance of quality procedures and work instructions. Participates in improvement projects. Develops and gives presentations to customers and suppliers. Participates in self- and team-audits and associated corrective action. Performs other duties as required.

Data Acquisition - Prepares samples, verifies equipment calibration and performs tests according to an approved standard procedure or work instruction in a manner which ensures, and results in, data that can be trusted and delivered to the engineer or customer.
Data Reporting - Prepares documentation in a manner which clearly organizes and presents testing methods, instrument settings, the data and analysis to allow the engineer and customer to understand the results and form accurate conclusions and recommendations.
Product Problem Solving - Solves product problems using a process that protects the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust, data-based solutions; and identifies the systemic root causes and recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.
Product Software Design and Construction - Constructs product software using industry best practices and robust software engineering principles; verifies software updates to ensure quality products.

Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field is required.
Regionally applicable certification or two year Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills Required:-
- Knowledge of turbocharger and its testing methods
- Knowledge of ISO documentation.
- Knowledge of safety documentation (HIRA,Aspect Impact & MOC,etc)
- Understanding of PR/PO, NPDN, GRR and procurement process.
- Experience in turbocharger assembly and tear down.
- Knowledge of test equipment calibration and maintenance procedure
- Experience in using measuring tools
- User level MS excel and Power Point skill
- Good communication skills to interact with global Lab Ops and product engineering team
- Knowledge of HSE practices (Risk assessment preparation, LOTO etc.)
- Knowledge about on site data logging.
- Knowledge about instrumentation work.
